Zsa Zsa Gabor's 26 Room Mansion On Sale For Only $28 Million
Veteran Hungarian American actress Zsa Zsa Gabor is not doing well and her hubby is also not in good health these days, so the couple has decided to sell their mansion in Los Angeles. The historic mansion has 26 rooms and one pool and they have just demanded $28 million for vacating it.
On Wednesday, a spokesman of the actress announced that the house was once occupied by popular 20th century American singer Elvis Presley. The spokesperson added that the hillside house was constructed for the late aviator and industrialist Howard Hughes. Presley lived there for four years decades ago when he was filing in Los Angeles.
The 93-year old Gabor bought this mansion from Presely's estate in the 1970s for $600,000 after his death, informed her ninth husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt. The actress, who got popular for her performances in the 1950s movies Lili and Moulin Rouge, had got her leg amputated last week due to a gangrene infection following hip replacement surgery in the month of July. Now, she is recovering at a hospital in Los Angeles but the doctors are `suspiciously optimistic' about her recovery prospects.
Her husband said that they only use two rooms of the huge mansion and paying a huge rent of $30,000 a month. So they want to sell it and shift in a smaller luxury condominium.
We are sure there will be numbers of buyers lining to get the mansion.
