"CPI (M) will field Rajendra Singh Munda and Jyotin Soren from Ranchi and Raj Mahal seats respectively and support other Left parties in their selected constituencies in Jharkhand, said Karat."
"Giridh, Chatra, Jamshedpur and Hazaribag are the other places where we will field our candidates," CPI General Secretary A. B. Bardhan said.
CPI General Secretary A. B. Bardhan and CPI (M) politburo member Brinda Karat were here to attend the state council meetings of their parties.
Ruling out any collaboration with the Congress, the leaders said the Left parties were exploring possibilities of an alliance with regional parties in the state.
During their meeting the Left leaders decided to adjust seats with like-minded parties in the other three seats. (ANI)
