Jacko’s comeback tour announcement sends album sales soaringLondon, March 7 : Sales of Michael Jackson's classic albums have been reaching new skies after the singer confirmed his return to stage with the series of gigs in London.

The King of Pop, who has kept a low profile since his acquittal in 2005 of child sex abuse charges, has stayed away from a live arena since 2001.

The 50-year-old recently confirmed 10 concerts while 10 more were reportedly added to fill the 20,000-capacity O2 arena at the former Millennium Dome.

Web retailer Play. com observed a 110 per cent hike in the sales of "Bad" overnight while "Dangerous" purchases were up by as much as 165 per cent.

While "Thriller" sales increased by 155 per cent, 1979''s "Off The Wall" took the biggest portion of the pie by recording an increase of 200 per cent.

"With the King of Pop back in the UK it seems that music is back in the hearts of British MJ fans," the Sun quoted a Play. com spokesman as saying. (ANI)
