Asif To Watch IPL Matches In SAPakistani fast bowler Mohammad Asif will be a part of the second season of the T20 extravgtanza, not as a player but only as a spectator!

"Asif will be going to South Africa to watch a few matches of the IPL," said the bowler's management company.

Asif, who already left for London on Tuesday for a two-week stint, will fly to South Africa to watch a few IPL games.

In IPL first season Asif had played for Delhi Daredevils. However, he was banned by the IPL after he tested positive for banned anabolic steroid nandrolone.

Additional Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium gave the word to a bench led by Justice B.N. Aggarwal after senior counsel Indira Jaisingh, appearing for NGO Health for Millions, alleged the Centre was dragging its feet on the subject.

Jaisingh charged the administration of crumpling under the force from the tobacco lobby.

It is learnt that an FIR has been lodged against Dutt for allegedly violating model code of conduct by making communal remarks in an election rally in Mau district. Giving this information,district police chief Ram Bharose said, "A case against Dutt was registered Tuesday night after he made communal remarks at a public meeting."

The FIR was registered against the SP General Secretary at Dakkhin Tola police station.

RCom Buys Back US$5 Million FCCBsIn a significant move, country's second largest mobile-phone operator, Reliance Communications (RCom) has decided to repurchased US $ 5 Million (about Rs 25.26 crore) foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs) at discount from the international markets.

In a disclosure to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Mumbai based company, owned by Anil Ambani said that it has bought back 50 zero coupon FCCBs aggregating Rs 25.26 crore.

The filing further added that the repurchased bonds are expected to extinguish on April 15, 2009.
