Raj Television Posts Net Loss Worth Rs 30.76 Mln In Q4 Chennai-based Raj Television Network has declared the results for the three-month period ended March 31, 2009.

For the period under review, the company said that it has posted a net loss of Rs 30.76 million, as compared to the net loss of Rs 3.42 million during the corresponding period of the last year.

The company’s revenue saw a growth of 84.45% during the quarter to Rs 204.05 million, while the income from operations and net sales was Rs 194.94 million from Rs 86.44 million in the prior year.

Mohammed Sartaj, a fruit vendor, filed a complaint against the doctors at a maternity home run by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in Oshiwara, for swapping his baby boy for a girl, minutes after the delivery on Wednesday evening.

Sartaj’s wife Reshma Bano also said that soon after giving birth to her baby, she was informed by the doctors that it was a boy.

Bano was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon and delivered the child around 6 pm.
