Madrid - Troubled Spanish giants Valencia are considering selling off their most important stars - in order to reduce their massive debts.

Sports daily Marca said on Wednesday that Premier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester City are interested in in Euro 2008 top scorer David Villa, and that Barcelona are renewing their interest in David Silva, another member of the Euro-winning Spain team.

Other Valencia stars rumoured to be the targets for other clubs, are Spanish internationals Joaquin, Fernando Morientes, Vicente Rodriguez and Raul Albiol, plus Portuguese players Miguel, Manuel Fernandes and Hugo Viana.

Valencia are rumoured to be more than 150 million euros (253 million dollars) in debt, and could be soon filing for bankruptcy.

Lausanne, Switzerland - A hearing over a medal distribution dispute at the Olympic 200 metres final has been postponed until January 15, the Court of Arbitration for Sport said on Wednesday.

The appeal from Dutch Antilles runner Churandy Martina to reinstate him as silver medallist was originally to be heard on Friday.

Churandy had originally finished second in the Beijing race in August won by Usain Bolt of Jamaica, with American Wallace Spearmon placing third.

Paris - Former French international striker David Trezeguet said he has changed his mind and wants to play for the national side again.

In an interview published Wednesday in the daily L'Equipe, the injured Juventus Turin forward said: "I have always missed les Bleus, and I miss them today as well."

Asked if that meant he had changed his mind about retiring from international football, the 31-year-old Trezeguet said, "Yes, I'm thinking especially about the (2010) World Cup. I haven't excluded it."

Murphy made the game-winning tip-in at the buzzer, and the Indiana Pacers overcame a 16-point fourth-quarter deficit to stun the league-leading Los Angeles Lakers

Lahore, Dec. 3 : Betting activities on international cricket matches have come to a halt after last week’s terror attacks in Mumbai.

According to the Daily Times, bookmakers in Lahore have stopped betting and are not issuing rates of any cricket matches.

They said that the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Indian Cricket League (ICL) season, in which around 20 matches were scheduled, has suffered due to the terrorist attacks.

Bookmakers have also cancelled bets for two one-day international matches and two test matches between India and England, while all bets for the Australia and New Zealand series have also been cancelled.
