Gene Mutation Can Also Cause Heart Attack – A StudyA new study conducted by the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) stated that genes mutation involved in maintaining the structure of heart muscle can result in a sudden cardiac arrest.

The study revealed that mutation in the gene, Myosin Binding Protein-C (MYBPC3) can result in coronary failures, which resulted in sudden death.

Dr. Lalji Singh, Director of CCMB who conducted the study told that heart attack may be caused due to many reasons, and a few of them are also related to genetic disorders or one’s lifestyle.

British Researchers Image Bleeding Inside Heart

British Researchers Image Bleeding Inside HeartBritish scientists said that bleeding images inside the heart after people suffer a heart attack are useful to figure out what drug treatments are required.

The research done by a team at the Imperial College London appears in the journal ‘Radiology’.

The research shows that the amount of bleeding can point out how damaged a person’s heart is after a coronary failure.
