London, Jan. 31: Dancing On Ice star Jessica Taylor has said that her husband Kevin Pietersen''s shock resignation as England cricket captain, has left everyone in the family hurt, and added that it has not been easy to live with it.

"It's been tough. It hasn't been easy. It's never nice to see someone you love going through something hurtful," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

She said that she was proud that Kevin has returned to play for England.

Islamabad, Jan. 31: The Pakistan government has no objection over its cricket players taking part in the Indian Twenty20 cricket extravanza, the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Pakistan sports minister Aftab Jilani said it (Pak Sports Ministry) has no objection to its cricketers competing in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

"We feel it's a private league in which Pakistan players compete in an individual capacity," The Daily Times quoted Jilani, as saying.

Ponting said it is important that the team starts afresh for their five-game series against New Zealand, which begins in Perth on Sunday.

London, Jan. 31: The England Cricket Board (ECB) has extended Mushtaq Ahmad's tenure as England's spin-bowling coach upto the forthcoming Test series in the West Indies.

The ECB said that the players in the national team are really happy with Ahmad and his coaching abilities, as he has helped in tremendously improving players like Monty Panesar grow on the international arena.

Lahore, Jan. 31: A day after the Indian Premier League (IPL) slapped a ban on Pakistani speedster Mohammad Asif for testing positive for taking a banned substance to enhance performance, he (Asif) appeared before a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) committee which is probing his 19-day detention in Dubai last June for the illegal possession of a banned substance (opium).

The three-man committee, which first met on last Thursday, heard Asif's plea and decided that the final decision would be taken after consulting the board's chairman, Ejaz Butt.

After presenting the cap, ICC President David Morgan said: "The word `great' is often over-used but it applied to Barry, a wonderfully gifted player"

Richards said he would cherish what he called "the ultimate accolade".
