Adelaide, Feb. 11: He is an international cricketer who has scored over 10,000 runs in Test cricket and over 11,000 runs in one-day internationals, but Australian captain Ricky Ponting failed to get bat to ball against a plucky 10-year-old survivor of Victoria''s bushfires today.
To the crowd''s delight, and with a wry smile, Ponting headed for the sheds as the youngster, Koby, took over batting duties.

Lahore, Feb. 11: The Pakistan Cricket Board's former COO Shafqat Naghmi has said he will file a defamation suit against PCB chairman Ijaz Butt for accusing him of financial mismanagement.
"I will claim a public apology from them and one rupee in damages to show these people what I think they are worth," Naghmi was quoted by The News, as saying.
Naghmi has decided to file the defamation suit against Butt and senior PCB officials later this week.
Sydney, Feb. 11 (ANI): Promising New South Wales all-rounder Moises Henriques is set to make his international debut after being named in Australia''s squad for Sunday''s Twenty20 clash with New Zealand.

Karachi, Feb. 10 : The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed that Javed Miandad demanded an exorbitant salary package which forced the Board to sack him from the post of Director-General.
PCB chief Ijaz Butt said Miandad turned down the offer of Rs 500,000 and demanded Rs 1.6 million as salary.
"Miandad asked for a salary which we could not give to him. I regard him highly as a great cricketer but we can''t pay him more than what we had offered him," the News quoted Butt, as saying.
Melbourne, Feb. 10 : Former Australian cricketer Simon O'Donnell has said that skipper Ricky Ponting and coach Tim Nielsen need to grow up and start delivering results.
In a scathing assessment, the former Test all-rounder blasted the "ridiculous" decision to rest Ponting and hit out at the leadership and selection structure.
Former Test selector John Benaud, who claimed it was a major tactical error to announce that Ponting would be rested, supported him.
