Wrinkles can be caused by Chewing gum
Health experts caution all of them who have a habit of gum-chewing, as they may turn up having wrinkles.
As the doctors elaborate the matter they stress that people who chew gum on a regular basis are likely to develop wrinkles around their mouth.
Dr. Joel Schlessinger, a dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon from Omaha, says that he has observed many of his patients develop wrinkles after a resuming to a regular habit of gum chewing, reports The New York Daily News.
The supposed reason causing the wrinkles is believed to be the over usage of jaw muscles resulting in wrinkle formation, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Hema Sundaram, of Washington, D. C. reports.
She further stated that whilst one chews a gum the muscle encounter an over-activity resulting to a potential break down of support tissue underneath the skin, contributing to volume loss of skin elasticity.
