Worlds first for cure for PE

PriligyWorld's first oral medication to treat premature ejaculation has been granted an approval for usage in Singapore.

Premature ejaculation, or PE, is tainted to be one of the most severe issues which is visible in case of males sexual health globally, states Janssen-Cilag.

It is considered to be a medical condition which has been designed in a manner to fight against the short ejaculatory latency time and lack of control. In Singapore, 20 per cent of men are witnessing PE, while another probable 14 per cent are likely the true sufferers of the condition.

The medicine called Priligy which has been granted a nod has been approved here for the treatment of PE for men aged in between the group of 18 and 64 bracket possessing symptoms such as latency time of less than two minutes, and at the same time suffering with poor persistence or recurrent ejaculation with the least amount of sexual stimulation, personal distress and poor control.

The medicine is considered to be an oral tablet that can be consumed before one to three hours prior to the sexual activity.

Priligy was experimented as clinic trials in Asia Pacific, where the associates, comprised of Singaporeans, who received either 30 or 60mg of Priligy for 12 weeks. Post trial results showed that men who were on regular dosage were less depressed about their rate of ejaculation.
