Women's downhill delayed by fresh snowfall
Val d'Isere, France - Fresh snowfall has delayed the start of Sunday's women's downhill race at the alpine ski world championships.
The race has been provisionally rescheduled for 3 p. m. (1400 GMT). The race jury will make a final decision at 1.30 p. m. on whether to go ahead with the race.
The downhill was scheduled to start at 1 p. m., and initially delayed for an hour.
Men's downhill training for Monday's super-combined event has been cancelled. dpa
