Who has invented ATM is still in doubt
A technological wonder, The Automatic teller machine is a kind of boon to the human society. This machine gave the liberty to do the banking tasks even after the closing of bank hour. The idea of ATM was coined in the year 1960 by John Shepherd-Barron.
The term at that time was a "Hole in the wall". This idea of ATM came when john arrived at the bank after the closing hour and was not able to do the take out the cash from the bank.
But still the fight is going to determine who the inventor of the ATM machine was. Some of the people thinking that Luther George Simjian was the originator because his idea was the early bird and some are thinking that it was Don Wetzel, because he has got exclusive rights to exhibit in the Museum of American History to demonstrate it.
Jairus Larson also stated he did not invent the ATM, but the first "on-line" ATM. It does not matter that who discovered the ATM machine but the invention will serve the mankind as long as mankind exists.
