Apart from its plans to look beyond the metros, the company also expects a double-digit growth on the back of its new range of air conditioners and refrigerators.

Shantanu Dasgupta, vice-president, corporate affairs and strategy, South Asia, Whirlpool India said that the company expects its new range to bring a double digit growth for the company in this season.

Moreover, Dasgupta also mentioned the fact that since the company has now decided to move beyond the metros and mini-metros, it will help the company to garner high numbers in the long-run. The company has also firmed up plans to open 300 more service outlets across the country.
