According to a latest research done by Jeffery Hall, an assistant professor of communication studies at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, and colleagues, it has been found that there are close to five different style of flirting that are found in a normal human being.

The research has further said that it depends on the understanding of how one communicates the romantic interest may help him/her improve the chances in love. Physical, traditional, polite, sincere, and playful are the five different style of flirting explained by Hall and his colleagues.

While the research did not find any major gender differences in the flirting styles, the research has said that the women scored higher on all styles except for playful. Moreover, the research also pointed out towards the fact that the physical and sincere styles were the most likely of all that may lead into the deeper relationship that will move ahead with a strong emotional connect. Hall said in his statement that the very early part of any relationship is very important to the long-term success of any relationship in many ways.

Hall surveyed close to 5,100 men and women about their techniques for this survey.
