As per the recent reports, Microsoft shall launch its latest addition in its Xbox series - an external USB storage. If the rumors are to be believed then the owners of Xbox 360 have a reason to cheer. They can now install and download games on their Xbox.

Further in explanation of storage one can store Live Arcade games, downloadable content, full-scale Games on Demand and title updates on up to two connected storage devices at a time.

Again the question which arises out here is the 120 GB hard drive on current Xbox 360 models. It still lingers why Microsoft infused USB? The answer to this remains unknown.

However for the users it comes as good news as if the price of memory cards starts at $30 for 512 MB and in case of replacement hard drives it is $130 for 120 GB. As it seems to be obvious this gives ample reasons to rejoice that a 16 GB USB stick for $40 is still a better deal than Microsoft's memory cards.
