Untethered iOS6 jailbreak may likely be released soon
The months-long wait of the jailbreak community for an untethered iOS6 jailbreak is apparently nearing its end; with the @evad3rs team having recently revealed that it has come extremely close to completing the jailbreak.
Giving the latest update on @evad3rs team's relentless efforts to complete the untethered iOS6 jailbreak, the evasi0n.com website said in a statement on Sunday, February 3: "92%: Final testing and preparation. Come back soon!"
Going by the indications from a new Reddit thread, the `untethered' jailbreak - which the users of iOS6 devices have been eagerly waiting for - will probably be released by Evad3rs at around 12 p. m. EDT on February 4. The suggestion is seemingly based on the javascript algorithm which is embedded in the website's code for ascertaining the percentage of the status bar shown on the Evasi0n website.
Meanwhile, according to reports, new untethered iOS6 jailbreak will be compatible with all the iOS6 versions; and will support all the devices which run of Apple's newest firmware release.
In other words, the untethered iOS6 jailbreak will essentially allow the users of Apple' latest smartphone and tablet offerings - the iPhone 5 and the iPad 4 respectively - to finally have the ability to tweak, augment and modify their devices according to their wish.
