Mumbai: Union Minister of Chemical, Fertilisers and Steel Ram Vilas Paswan launched his son, Chirag Paswan, in Bollywood on his 25th birthday.

Paswan said, “No politics today, it’s the day for celebration and birthday of my son Chirag.”

“I don’t know much about films and only the media and people can judge Chirag’s acting prowess. All I can say is that it is a challenge for Chirag and he is competent. He has the confidence to make it, and he has always been hardworking and persevering as a student. He will become a superstar, I’m sure of that,” the minister added.

The Lok Janshakti Party president raised for his son and said, “Chirag has chosen a path on his own and has taken up the challenge in a very new field. If he is talented, definitely film makers will cast him in their movies,” the Union Minister added.

Paswan also said that he plans a meeting at Kalidas in Mulund but disclose the agenda, and then he had to leave the city.

Director Parkash Jha at the party, said, “Paswanji is like my big brother and I wish his son all the best in his decision to join films. I am sure Chirag will be as successful as Riteish (Deshmukh).”

At the party, Jha said that film, be planned, would be released by Anuj Saxena, actor and CEO of Maverick Production.

Chirag was launched for an untitled Bollywood movie.  

Jackie Shroff, Prem Chopra, singer Penaz Masani and others were also present at the launch.
