Unclaimed Bag Containing Rs 35,000 Found In ImphalA handbag containing Rs 35,000 together with a bank passbook has been found this morning, by a mobile team of the 4th IRB posted at Thenggu Chingjin of Koirenggei led by Jemandar Dikambou.

The team found the blue colour bag lying at Diamond Gali in Imphal’s Paona bazaar around 10.30 am today.
 
After checking the bag thoroughly the IRB group showed the bag to reporters and announced that the real owner could produce suitable proof that the money belongs to him and collect the money.

While speaking to media persons, Jamandar Dikanpao stated that initially, the team thought it could be a bomb, but after checking the bag, they found seven bundles of notes of Rs 500 and Rs 100 denominations.

They also found a passbook of State Bank of India (SBI) account number 30346352560 with the name Th Jugeshor Singh of Kangpokpi Mamang Leikai.

The police asked that the real owner may collect the findings by contacting the police on mobile phone no. 9436281172 and 9612152262.
