UK rejects asylum request of Osama’s son

UK rejects asylum request of Osama’s sonLondon, Nov. 21: The British Government has rejected a request for political asylum forwarded by the son of al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden.

Omar Bin Laden, 27, and his English-born wife Zaina, 52, applied for sanctuary on Wednesday, saying their lives were in danger, reports The Sun.

The application was sent from from his temporary home in Qatar after Spain had denied him asylum last week.

“The rules are clear. Even if he had turned up here we would have deported him,” said a Whitehall official. (ANI)
