UEFA announces hosts of club competitions  Nyon, Switzerland - Europe's governing body UEFA on Thursday announced the hosts of the 2011 and 2012 European club competition finals.

UEFA said that the organization's executive committee had awarded the final of the 2011 Champions League to Wembley Stadium in London, while the Fussball Arena in Munich will host the Champions League a year later.

Dublin's Landsdowne Road, which is currently under construction, will host the 2011 final of the UEFA Europe League, which replaces the UEFA Cup, while the final a year later will be hosted in the New National Stadium in Bucharest - the first time a major club final will be held in the Romanian capital.

Last year UEFA awarded the 2009 Champions League final to Rome, with the UEFA Cup final going to Istanbul. In 2010 the Champions League final will be held in the Stadium Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, while the UEFA Cup final will be played in the Arena Hamburg. dpa
