Two ASI Officials Suspended Over Ram Setu Controversy

New Delhi: Two functionaries of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) have been suspended over Ram Setu affidavit controversy.

One of the suspended officials was the director administration whereas the other was of the grade of assistant director.

Both were accountable for the drafting of the affidavit with the divisive citations to Ram that resulted to a storm of protestations.

On Friday the administration withdrew its affidavits and stated the Supreme Court that it would like to brush up the Sethusamudram project with the intention that the Ram Setu will not be troubled.
