The shares of Transformers and Rectifiers India Limited, has got listed today at Rs. 790 on the NSE, at 70% premium or up by Rs. 325 from its issue price of Rs 465.

The company was incorporated in 1994 and it is one of the leading transformers manufacturers in India with over 20 years experience in this segment. It manufactures transformers ranging from power generation, transmission and distribution transformers, industrial and specialty transformers.

The company had come out with an IPO of almost 3 million equity shares of Rs 10 each in the price range of Rs 425-465 a share. The issue was open for subscription from December 7 to December 12.

The issue was subscribed 91.31 times and it got bids for 27.35 crore shares against 29.95 lakh shares on offer, a NSE release said.

At 11:00 AM, the share was trading at Rs 721, up Rs 256 or 55 %. About 14,48,393 shares exchanged hands on the counter. It touched intraday high of Rs 790 and low of Rs 682.
