T-Mobile to improve LTE speeds
Telecom giant, T-Mobile has said that it is working to improve data connection speeds on its 4G LTE network for the customers in the country.
T-Mobile had said that it will use MetroPCS's spectrum in order to beef up speeds of its own 4G LTE network. The company is now working on its plans to improve speeds after users complained of slower connections. A media report showed that the telecom carrier combined its own spectrum with MetroPCS's in North Dallas and created a 20x20 service offering faster speeds to LTE-capable devices in the area.
The high speed connection is now available only in North Dallas but the company is planning to roll out the service to 90 percent of the top 25 markets in the US. The company did not announce a time frame for the speedier network in the country but said that it is planning to develop a 10x10 LTE coverage in 40 of the top 50 U. S. markets within this year.
Meanwhile, the company will also start offering a new $35 Unlimited Talk & Text plan for Pay In Advance customers. The plan will include unlimited minutes and text messages.
