Tehran  - Three convicted drug traffickers, including one woman, were hanged in central Iran, the Tehran daily Kayhan reported Wednesday.

The three were hanged on Monday in the city of Isfahan after their initial death sentences were confirmed by the Supreme Court.

Murder, rape, armed robbery and drug trafficking of quantities in excess of 5 kilograms are among crimes punishable by death in Iran. (dpa)
