There’s Nothing To Discuss With Musharraf, Says Sharif

Former Prime Minister Nawaz SharifNew Delhi: Pakistan’s exiled former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has precluded any transaction on his return to politics with President Pervez Musharraf, who he alleged "spared no effort" to prevent him from coming back to Islamabad.

Sharif said Musharraf's envoys contacted him in Saudi Arabia and London in the past five years with different propositions, comprising uniting the group of his Pakistan Muslim League (PML).

Sharif told, “There is nothing to discuss with him (Musharraf).”

"A man who is guilty of abrogating the Constitution, a man who is guilty of overthrowing an elected government, a man who is guilty of removing the Chief Justice of Pakistan. Do you think he should be talked to," he postulated.

Sharif alleged that it would be morally wrong to strike any contract or even hold any discussions with "usurpers and dictators".
