Recently a ‘biodegradable’ phone has been introduced by Sony Ericson, The phone reportedly will be made of materials like the bio-plastic, recycled plastic keypads, zero charger that has 3.5mW standby power.
To add more, it will come in an eco-friendly packaging and to reduce paper waste, the manuals would be digital.
Wednesday saw Sony Ericsson’s President Dick Komiyama announcing that the company has been studying Google's Android mobile operating system, but was not able to accept it.
At a media event in the southern Swedish city of Lund, where the company has a research and development site, Komiyama reported, “We are certainly studying this opportunity, although we're not in a position to do this at this moment. We should look at this application. We are certainly interested.”

A press release issued by the company said that this new service will be powered by British music-download firm Omnifone. The music will be featured from all four of the largest recording labels.
