TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) will design proper tax system for Uganda .The Uganda revenue authority has TCS to make a proper tax plan which will help it to regulate tax and provide proper services to tax payers.

N Chandrasekaran, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director, TCS said, TCS will assist Uganda Revenue Authority in business process re-engineering, capacity building and change management to improvise and optimize the business process’ execution jointly with URA management.

URA is planning to increase the taxes and start online tax paying. Tax payers can submit applications online, check the status of application and make e-payment using this web portal. The cost of this project is $11.5 million. Many developed countries are supporting this project to help Uganda to have stable financial base.
