TCS targets more profit in FY12India's largest IT Company, Tata Consultancy Services is optimistic for 2012. Company expects higher growth in FY2012, as the business opportunities seem good for the company and the sector.

N Chandrashekharan, CEO and MD, Tata consultancy Services said in an interview with CNBC TV18 that the demand environment is more appealing, as compared to last couple of fiscals.

Being optimist about the performance of the company, he said that customer spend is very likely to increase in the coming fiscal. When asked about any adverse effect company faced in Middle East and North Africa because of political unrest, he said TCS has no major impact on business because of this.

He said that TCS is doing good in all markets, but complete recovery in Europe is yet to arrive. TCS noted a profit rise of 30% in quarterly profit in January, as during this time, company added most number of clients in seven quarters.

Chandrashekharan also talked about plans of recruitment. He said the company will hire more in this fiscal. TCS had target of hiring 30,000 professionals in FY11. But in the first two quarters only, it completed this target and is looking for more. Chandrashekharan also said TCS is looking ahead for adding capacity in cloud computing.
