To entertain young ones, Star Plus is going to launch a unique award show named the Surf Excel LI’LSTAR AWARDS SHOW.

Produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment, the show is the first of its kind- in which an award decided and judged by little kids, who also are a part of this gigantic film industry.

The awards show will be aired on 14 December at 1 pm.
 

There's official announcement of the cancellation of the first edition of the Champions League Twenty20, which was to be held in Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai, and was initially scheduled to be played from December 3 to 10 but was postponed due to the terror attacks on Mumbai.

It has been informed by the ISRO Chairman G. Madhavan Nair that now fisherman can be explained the exact part of the sea where they should go to get heavy amount of fish.

Madhavan Nair informed, “The ISRO has developed a methodology to locate fish schools by reading sea surface temperature and analysing the ocean colour through satellite remote sensing.”

An endowment lecture in the name of the late Prof. C. Karunakaran, the founder of the Centre for Earth Science Studies (CESS), a leading science institution of the State government was being delivered by him.
