TVS Motors launches ’90-cc Scoty Sreak’ at Rs 36,480TVS Motors, the third largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India, has finally rolled out its new stylish and futuristic 'Scotty Streak' in the domestic market. The company's latest scooterette targets girls in 16 to 20 age group.

The newly introduced 90 cc Scotty Streak, comes with sharp head lamps, LED tail-lamps, broad anti-skid tyres, and external fuel fill at the rear.

The company claims that bike is fitted with LiTech engine, which makes it lighter than comparative models of other manufacturers.

Nokia to introduce ‘Virtual Music Stores’ in India

NokiaNokia, the world's largest cellphone maker, is presently in talks with leading music content providers and music companies for rolling out its virtual music stores in India.

Under the facility, consumers would be able to access and download music on their mobile phones and PCs.

Sources reported that Finnish mobile handset maker is currently joining hands with around 150 music companies including Universal Music, Warner Bros, Sony BMG and other national music leaders.

The company is likely to launch the service initially in India with a free one-year subscription on purchase of select Nokia handsets.

Aditya Birla completes buyout of Apollo Sindhoori

Aditya Birla NuvoAditya Birla Nuvo, a diversified conglomerate, has notified that it has completed the acquisition of 76 per cent stake in the retail broking firm of the Apollo Hospitals Group.

The group bought 56 per cent in Apollo Sindhoori Capital Investment from the promoters and another 20 per cent through an open offer.

The acquired company is a leading player in the financial services sector with over 10 years of experience in the share broking business. The firm's principal activities are providing financial services, stock broking, commodity broking and related activities.

Reliance Power Transmission finally signs deal with eight firms

Reliance Power Transmission finally signs deal with eight firms Reliance Power Transmission Ltd (RPTL), an associate company of Reliance Infrastructure Limited, has signed power transmission agreements with eight entities from the western region.

The agreements are for two inter-State power transmission projects, under the Western Region System Strengthening Scheme (WRSSS) - II.
The signing of the agreements will lead to financial closure for these projects, costing Rs 1,800 crore.
