IRFC, Power Grid, NTPC, BEL, BHEL, NTPC Green Energy managed to close the day with impressive gains in an overall negative market.

BEML, Bharat Electronics, IREDA, NTPC were among major losers in PSU segment in today's session. REC, PFC, NHPC and IRFC were trading positive.

BEML, NHPC, BHEL, NMDC and Coal India were among public sector stocks that witnessed positive moves on Friday.

RVNL and Ircon International registered decline on Friday. Both stocks had gained during trading session on Thursday as RVNL allocated a project in Madhya Pradesh to IRCON JV.

BEML share price jumped 2.8 percent on Friday amid overall weak trend in the markets. Many public sector stocks have witnessed a relief rally from the lows touched during March.

IRFC Share price continued to remain under pressure on Thursday and the stock closed 3 percent lower.
