The latest James Bond flick, 'Quantum Of Solace', has smashed box office records on its opening weekend in the UK - taking £15.5m in three days. According to industry journal Screen Daily, Hollywood actor Daniel Craig's latest outing as James Bond took a further £14.2m in France and Sweden.

Leading the box office, an encore performance by High School Musical 3: Senior Year despite Halloween distractions on Friday, raked in a cool $15.3 million over the weekend making it Hollywood's top movie, second week in a row.

Washington, Nov 4 : Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood is set to give up his acting career for the director’s chair.

The 78-year-old star has hinted that his forthcoming starring role in Gran Torino will be his last.

He has cut back on his acting career in recent years to concentrate on directing.

"It''ll (Gran Torino) probably be my last. I''ll be drummed out of it after this one,” Contactmusic quoted Eastwood, as telling Ireland''s Sunday World newspaper.
