Kate Winslet Bares All For Vanity Fair!

Kate WinsletBritish actress, Kate Winslet, 33, who has been nominated for best supporting actress and best actress for role in 'The Reader' and 'Revolutionary Road', appears on the cover staring at the camera, wearing a white coat. Talking her heart out to Vanity Fair, including baring all for its December 2008 issue, Kate reveals why she needs coffee and a ciggie in the morning, to what she thought of husband Sam Mendes when they first met, how she feels about her five Oscar nominations, to how deeply she really wants the Oscar this year.

As for her 2008 releases, she says she has been really very lucky to get two compelling roles in a 12-month period, which is not only rare but remarkable as well. Bloody well making the most of this rare opportunity, she also admits that this year she would like nothing better than to win the Oscar this year, as five nominations and no wins has been tough on her.

Revealing all and then some, see Kate in all her natural glory, her very Catherine Deneuve-esque pictures taken by the famed photographer, Annie Leibovitz, which channel Deneuve's Belle de Hour character of a housewife, who works as a prostitute in the day, when her husband is away to work, in Vanity Fair's new issue.

Kate's interview also lets us in on the secret behind her flawlessly great skin, which she puts down to being able to do excellent cover-ups and is only too happy to show how. She natters on about weight struggles as a teenager, what it is like living with husband Sam Mendes, reuniting with her 'Titanic' co-star Leonardo DiCaprio in Revolutionary Road, being checked out by other mothers at her children's school, and even her vices. Admitting that she needs coffee and a cigarette in the morning to keep her visit to the loo regular, Kate says she doesn't smoke around her children or in the house.
