Rahul Mahajan, one of the strongest contestants on reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, has been evicted from the show as he denied tendering regret for a ‘misconduct’ on Saturday night, when he broke the most important house rule, of not leaving the Lonavala bungalow along with the three remaining contestants including Raja Chaudhary, Zulfi Sayed and Ashutosh Kaushik.

On Saturday night, they all jumped the walls of the ‘Bigg Boss’ house just because they were tired of home cooked food and wanted to taste food outside.

In a silent protest, sans inflammatory speeches, leading Tamil actor Vijay and his fans' organizations observed an eight-hour fast on Sunday, in order to express the actor's solidarity for the cause of Sri Lankan Tamils in Chennai. Vijay had earlier participated in the fast organized by the South Indian Film Artistes Association in the city last month over the same issue.

According to the Santa Barbara, Calif., District Attorney’s Office, a formal charge for DUI has been laid against Heather Locklear, former star of Melrose Place and who was arrested on 27th September in Montecito, following a 911 call made by a paparazzo reporting Locklear was ‘driving erratically’, who then took proceeded to take photographs of the star and her arrest, selling them later through an intermediary to TMZ.com, a celebrity news site for $27,500.
 

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy has announced that the state government plans to institute a national award in the name of Telugu film legend B N Reddy from next year.

The CM was speaking at the state government-sponsored ‘Nandi Awards’ presentation fete. The function was held on Sunday in a grand manner with much pomp and gaiety for the first time in its history - the venue, LB stadium, was packed with thousands of film enthusiasts!
