London-based British Asian theatre company Tamasha is staging an Indian-version play based on the famous novel at the Coliseum, reports Times Online.

The names of the main characters in the play would be Krishnan, instead of Heathcliff, and Shakuntula, rather than Cathy.

RobotLondon, Mar 23 : A robot's eyes may not be the windows to its soul, but they can certainly help humans guess the machine''s intentions, according to a new study.

Researchers led by Bilge Mutlu at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, have demonstrated that robots "leak" non-verbal information through eye movements when interacting with humans.

Mutlu said that humans constantly give off non-verbal cues and interpret the signals of others, without realising it at a conscious level.

The anonymous woman telephoned RAF Wattisham in Suffolk in a state of distress and said that she was approached by an extra-terrestrial with a "Scandinavian-type accent" in a light brown flying suit, reports the Daily Star.

ECB confident of hosting IPL in England

IPL submits re-revised schedule to Home MinistryLondon, Mar 23 : The England and Wales Cricket Board plans to stage the Indian Premier League in a little over two weeks without any disruption to its domestic or international schedule.

The ECB is confident that it can stage all 59 matches of the IPL from April 10 to May 24 on major grounds without altering any fixtures. The number of IPL matches will not be reduced, The Guardian reported.

The ECB said that it could measure up to one of its biggest challenges and pip its only realistic rivals, South Africa, to host the six-week Twenty20 tournament.
