Islamabad, July 22 : PML-N criticises PPP for "reconciliation with President Musharraf"The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has criticised the Pakistan People''s Party (PPP) for achieving "reconciliation with President Pervez Musharraf", and urged upon the ruling party to impeach the President without any further delay.

"PML-N always calls for impeachment of President Musharraf and restoration of sacked judges to end this political and economic uncertainty," The Daily Times quoted PML-N Information Secretary Ahsan Iqbal as saying in a statement.

Dr AQ Khan to file review petition against Islamabad HC verdict

Islamabad, July 22 : Pakistan nuclear scientist Dr. AQ KhanPakistan nuclear scientist Dr. AQ Khan last evening said that he would file a review petition against the Islamabad High Court (IHC)''s verdict which restricted him from giving interviews to the media.

"Khan said he does not agree with the verdict and believes that he was given little relief", the Daily Times quoted Dr Khan''s counsel Javed Iqbal Jafferi as saying.

Pak's national flag creator, a forgotten hero

PakistanKarachi, July 22: Master Afzal Hussain Foundation Trust chairperson, Qamar Sultana has reportedly demanded of the Pakistan Government to remember the death anniversary of Master Afzal Hussain at a national level.

Master Afzal Hussain, who had died on July 16, 1987, had designed the Pakistan's national flag.

Addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club, Qamar Sultana said, "proud nations always remember their national heroes, but our government did not pay any attention to this hero, who designed the national flag."

Muna Abanur Mohammed is among the eight students at Jamia Binora, a leading madressa in southern port city Karachi, who were placed on a black-list last month by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, due to the expiration of their religious education visas to study Koran.

Islamabad High Court ends A.Q. Khan''s house arrest

Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan''sIslamabad, July 21 : The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered the lifting of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan''s house arrest.

According to a Geo TV report, Khan, who was the fulcrum of a proliferation export program from Pakistan, would be allowed to carry out research work, move within the country and meet with relatives after getting clearance from the concerned authorities.

The high court, however, said that he could not give interviews to the media.

The order was announced after the hearing Khan''s petition in which he demanded his immediate release from house arrest.
