Tata Docomo to begin with 3G services on 8th Nov.One of major telecom operators in the Indian market, Tata Docomo has recently said that the company will be starting the 3G service in the Indian market on the 8th November 2010.

According to the plan unveiled by the company, it will be launching the 3G services in areas like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (West), Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh by Diwali.

Deepak Gulati, Tata DoCoMo executive president, mobility business division said that the overseas JV partner has already provided the technical inputs to make the 3G network in the country world-class and it will bring more services and products under its 3G umbrella that if offers in Japan currently.

It may be noted here that the 3G services will help In providing services like ultra-fast internet, videoconferencing, unlimited downloads, live TV channels, video call etc to the consumer and will ultimately help in making the user experience more joyful.

For the record, players like MTNL and BSNL are offering 3G services in the country and several more players are expected to jump into the fray in the coming times.
