Tata Communications inks MoU with UAE-based Etisalat

Tata Communications, country’s leading telecom service provider, has entered into an agreement with UAE-based Emirates Telecommunications Corporation, also known as Etisalat, to deliver enterprise grade network services in the United Arab Emirates.

Under the terms of the MoU, both companies will work together to deliver secure, scalable and flexible Ethernet & other connectivity solutions.

With the help of Tata Communications network, Etisalat will now deliver this managed, carrier-class, global network services to its end users and customers. While through the Etisalat domestic network, Tata

Communications will enhance its global coverage at various strategic locations in UAE.

According to the sources, this latest expansion is part of Tata Communications’ overall plan to offer increased connectivity into emerging regions across the world.

Emirates Telecommunications Corporation, set up in 1976, is the incumbent telecommunications carrier and Internet Service Provider in the UAE.
The company has also been looking to expand overseas and has said that it is looking to invest as much as US$ 400 crore in the Indian telecom market.
