New Delhi, Oct 23 : Anil Soni alias Iqbal, suspected to be an aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, has been arrested here, police officials said today.

Soni, who has been sentenced to 10-year imprisonment in a fake currency racket, had escaped from police custody from a running train last weekend.

He was being taken to Delhi from Suratgarh in connection with another fake currency case.

He was arrested from a south Delhi locality, police said.

Soni was lodged in Bikaner jail. (ANI)
