Surgeons tipped to offer cut wait lists

elective-surgeryHealth authorities in far north Queensland claim that the recent meeting of two new surgeons which will aid in offering an elective surgery with waiting lists.

In the recent year to October, the Cairns Base Hospital's elective surgery where the waiting list seems to increase everyday with growing numbers almost 200, to more than 1,550.

Robin Moore from the Cairns and Hinterland Health Service District states that surgeons will function on the sufferers in the health care units across the district including on the Tablelands and in Innisfail.

Meanwhile it was claimed that development of surgical services within the Cairns Base Hospital and having the specialized service and the same time working closely with the rest of the district to other surgeons to offer facilities and offer the services as close as one could possibly be and to the homes of the patients.

However, it is the time trial which will help the surgeons offer the list of new surgery.
