Stock Markets Review
Wednesday’s trading session was good for Indian Stock markets. Markets opened with a huge upward gap and ended the day with decent gains. Stocks in US markets ended with 0.8% gains a day before Christmas and the sentiment was good for Asian markets after Christmas.
Stocks which touched 52-week high included Adani Enterprises which touched a high of Rs 1038 and ended the day at Rs 1029.
BPCL touched a high of Rs 485 and ended the trading session at Rs 477. BPL has been gaining since last few sessions. The stock touched a 52-week high of Rs 107.80 and managed to close at the same level.
Dewan Housing is another stock which touched a 52-week high of Rs 196.05 and closed at same level. The stock was recommended by TopNews few days back for a long term delivery call.
Essar Oil touched a new 52-week high of Rs 330. Emkay Shares was recommended by TopNews for intraday trading on 24 December. The stock touched a 52-week high of Rs 323.30 and ended the day at same level.
Indiabulls touched a 52-week high of Rs 1022.70 and closed at same level. KLG Systel and Koutons Retail also touched 52-week high on Wednesday.
Punjab Chemicals touched a 52-week high of Rs 220. Rashtriya Chemicals touched a 52-week high of Rs 106. Reliance Capital touched a 52-week high of Rs 2650.
Rolta touched a yearly high of Rs 791 but ended the day at Rs 715. The stock gained quite nicely in start of trading session, but ended much lower.
Noida Toll Bridge and Mundra Port also managed to touch their yearly highs.
Overall, the day was good for Indian Stocks. Markets are again hovering near their all time highs and may make new high this week. Investors should keep their short term positions lower, while the long term outlook for the markets is good. Till budget, the stock markets should remain strong. The trend is global markets will effect Indian stocks as well.
