Space shuttle Atlantis blasted off for dangerous missionThe space agency of United States, NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) launched the space shuttle Atlantis on a risky mission to fix some problems and repair the Hubble Space Telescope. The space shuttle Atlantis was blasted off at 1901 BST (1401 EDT) from Florida's Kennedy Space Center.

While the space shuttle Atlantis is flying to the Hubble Space Telescope, the NASA scientists are watching the shuttle closely. According to NASA, the space shuttle Atlantis is on dangers mission, as there is a lot of space debris in the telescope's 350-mile-high orbit.      

The space agency has already kept another shuttle, Endeavour ready at the launch pad; Endeavour could be launched in three to six days if the astronauts had to be rescued. The space shuttle Atlantis will reach the Hubble Space Telescope on Wednesday.
