Sony Ericsson launches Xperia Ray in the UK market
Handset maker, Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of its new Android based smartphone, Xperia Ray in the UK market.
The smartphone is now available on the O2 network in the UK. The users can either buy it SIM free or with a monthly contract. The smarptohne features 3.3-inch touch screend display and runs Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread mobile operating system.
The smartphone comes with a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and up to 32GB of internal storage via microSD card. It also has a 8.1-megpixel rear-mounted camera with 720p HD video recording capabilities and front facing camera for video conferencing.
Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray is available for free on a £21.50 per month, two year contract with O2. Another telecom carrier, Three has already confirmed that it will launch the device soon.
