Some important vehicles displayed at Paris Motor ShowAt the ongoing Paris Motor Show, running September 29 through October 14, a horde of new vehicles are being unveiled; with automakers vying with one another to put on display an array of new rides, ranging from some incredible concept cars to ready-for-launch production models.

Going by the reports from the Paris Motor Show - the auto event which alternates years with the Frankfurt Motor Show -, while several of the production models displayed at the show will not be aimed at the North American market, quite a few mainstream vehicles will apparently cross over the Atlantic and boasts some notable enhancements over their preceding models.

Some of the most significant vehicles at display at the ongoing motor show included the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe Electric Drive which makes use of four electric motors; McLaren's new P1 supercar boasting aerodynamic technology; and BMW's light and fuel-efficient Concept Active Tourer concept car from the company's front-wheel drive platform.

In addition, some of the other important vehicles which were displayed at the show, and will apparently have a noteworthy impact on the auto industry, included: Jaguar's small and light F-Type; Land Rover's all-new 2013 Range Rover; the Mazda 6; the Porsche Sport Turismo; and all-new Volkswagen Golf.
