SkodaAuto India, a fully owned subsidiary of SkodaAuto a. s., Czech Republic and one of the leading automakers in the Indian market, has recently announced that it has clocked a sales growth of over 43% for the month of June 2010 over the same period last year.

Notably, the company said in a release issued to the media that it has sold over 1638 units in the last month, which is way up as compared to the 1145 units that the auto major sold in the month of June 2009.

However, when it comes to the cumulative sales since January, the company has even shocked many industry watchers as it has clocked an impressive growth of over 68% as compared to the same period last year.

It is to be mentioned here that the company has sold close to 9814 units from January to June 2010, filing a whopping rise as compared to the 5840 units that it sold for the same period last year.

Notably, the Superb has gained instant acceptance in the market and has maintained the No. 1 position since its market introduction.
