Sir David Attenborough’s zoo visit sends staid frogs into sex frenzy!

Sir David AttenboroughLondon, October 27 : Sir David Attenborough would not have expected that his visit to the zoo could coincide with staid frogs rekindling their desire and doing the needful.

Much to the surprise of the Reptile House keepers, the Mission Golden-eyed Tree frogs, that had seen three years without mating, produced between 40 and 50 offspring.

The keepers revealed that they had previously tried to get the carnivorous frogs in action but had failed though Sir David’s visit seemed to have brought back the charm amongst the amphibians.

However, they admitted that even though their placement of a humidifier in their tank might have done the trick, yet they could not deny the coincidence.

"It is really exciting that we have bred these frogs for the first time,” the Telegraph quoted Keeper George Sunter as saying.

"It''s a great coincidence that we moved them to time in with Sir David''s visit - and that this seems to have moved the earth for them," Sunter added. (ANI)
