Driven by a passion to design and create something out of the ordinary, Nidhi Shringi started up with the unique artefacts and home accessories store two years ago in Mumbai. After travelling round the globe with husband Gaurav, the two wanted to settle down in their hometown Jaipur. And the urge to provide Rajasthan with something unusual led them to open their second store here in the city. “Rajasthan is the home of handicrafts, but it does not have a concept store like this. So we thought it was great for both and would, in turn, promote handicrafts too,” says Gaurav.

Silver Oak is a store that represents not just the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance as well. “The materials used in our artworks are in their purest and natural form,” says Nidhi.

From the classy to the inimitable, the store has it all to rejuvenate you and your home. The store showcases a cohesive collection of lifestyle products and home accessories such as figurines, paintings, wall décor, candle holders, lamps, vases, fountain range and furniture in various mediums like wood, stone, pewter metal, mother-of-pearl and leather. “The collection is for all those art lovers who have a taste for the creative and the different. We might have a single piece of an artwork but that will be the most exclusive one,” says Gaurav. Nidhi further adds, “We don’t believe in numbers but in variety.”

The Mumbai store’s regular footfall includes celebrities and industrialists and even in Jaipur the store is targeting a niche segment. And what’s more, you can even rent stuff too if it’s that special look you want for a special occasion.

Pricing: The majority of the store artworks range from Rs1000-7000. Though the store also has a higher range from Rs35000-50000.
