Kannada film Sarathi starring the challenging star Darshan and hot actress Deepu is progressing with the shooting very fast, in and around Bangalore. The movie is being produced by the renowned producer KCN Chandrasekhar under the banner of Rajakamal Arts.

The film deals with the significance of birth place and its language. Recently, the song `Kai Mugidhu Eru Idhu Kannada Theru' was shot with tourists in the company of Darshan. Dr Nagendraprasad has penned the lyrics of the track, which elaborates the admiration to Kannada language by the protagonist.

Good supporting actors like Lohitashva, Ajay, Rangayana Raghu, Bullet Prakash, Sharat Lohitashva, Sithara, Muni and Sharat Kumar will be accompanying Darshan.

Dinakar Toogudeepa, the younger brother of Darshan is directing the movie. Dinakar has also penned the story with Chintan.

The music of Sarathi has been scored by V Harikrishna and Krishnakumar is handling the camera. The movie is filled with action and the stunts are directed by Ravi Verma and Palani Raj.
