Shastri believes IPL will bounce back from crisis

Ravi Shastri Former Indian player and commentator Ravi Shastri believes that the Indian Premier League will bounce back from crisis soon. The recent controversies over franchise bidding, telecast right issues and other financial irregularities issues is going to resolved soon and the fans can enjoy the IPL just like before.

He has anticipated that IPL will emerge stronger, bigger and more transparent from such troubles and in the fourth edition next year it will come back with a bang. Earlier, BCCI has suspended IPL Chairman and Commissioner Lalit Modi. He was accused of financial misdemeanors along with favoring his near and dears in the team auction process. Even BCCI working committee has discussed about this issue and now it is looking forward to start afresh.

However, the IPL's governing council is now having former Test cricketers like Sunil Gavaskar and Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi and Ravi Shastri himself. So it has been expected to have some clarity in the system now. Shastri has also said that there were a lot of things done which should not have been. At the same time a lot more can be done further which can ensure that such things would not happen in future.
